I got my eye exam done and my prescription had changed more than I even knew in only a year! I have NEVER seen this well since I've had glasses (about 8 or 9 years)! Coming to Eyes in Motion was an experience I treasure. Unbeknown to me, I needed a new prescription, and this was detected when I was selecting new frames. Finding flattering frames is challenging, and the Optician and Office Manager, were life savers, as I took that walk down the uncertain path. Two visits to make my selection, I felt must have been annoying, especially for the Office Manager, but no, it didn't seem to be. I have been collecting sunglasses for years and numerous pairs now crowd a drawer in my house, collecting dust even in the summer months. Why? Because I never wear sunglasses. I hate them, in fact. Despite all my best efforts, too much of my money, and my knowledge of what the sun does to my eyes, I have never found a pair I actually like to wear.
I met Raj and Gurjant through work on campus before Eyes In Motion had opened in The Cornerstone and got to know how friendly, passionate and knowledgeable they were. In February 2005 I casually challenged them that they would not be able to find me a pair of sunglasses I actually like enough to wear on a regular basis and that, come summer, I would put them to the test.
In late May I waltzed in to Eyes In Motion, reminded them of the challenge, and within 30 minutes, walked out with a fabulous pair of fairly-priced sunglasses that Raj adjusted to fit my face and Gurjant assured me looked great. There has not been a sunny day since that I have not thought of how great it is not to be squinting all the time!! What's better, they are still there to make any necessary readjustments and provide ongoing customer support.

I started wearing glasses in Grade 4, and since I'm now in graduate school, I've had my fair share (and then some!) of dealings with optometrists, opticians, glasses, contact lenses, and those endless bottles of cleaning products. Of all those dealings, Eyes in Motion rises far and beyond its competition: Raj and Grant run an exemplary business that combines professionalism, dedication, and true service for their clientele.
To wit: When I first wandered into their facility, I was greeted with genuine friendliness, and have been so greeted every time I've gone in since then. Raj is both candid and knowledgeable, taking great pains that her work is done properly, adjusting my glasses as many times as I wanted without ever begrudging me her time or expertise-indeed, quite the opposite: I always feel quite welcome in their office, thanks to Grant's personable nature and the clean, well-lit ambiance of the store.

My experience at Eyes in Motion has been great. The very professional eye care I've received from Rajis outstanding. It took rather a long time to satisfy me with the right pair of bifocal contact lenses and Raj was extremely patient. Coming to Eyes in Motion was an experience I treasure. Unbeknown to me, I needed a new prescription, and this was detected when I was selecting new frames. I have been collecting sunglasses for years and numerous pairs now crowd a drawer in my house, collecting dust even in the summer months. Why? Because I never wear sunglasses. I hate them, in fact. Despite all my best efforts, too much of my money, and my knowledge of what the sun does to my eyes, I have never found a pair I actually like to wear.
I met Raj and Gurjant through work on campus before Eyes In Motion had opened in The Cornerstone and got to know how friendly, passionate and knowledgeable they were. In February 2005 I casually challenged them that they would not be able to find me a pair of sunglasses I actually like enough to wear on a regular basis and that, come summer, I would put them to the test.
In late May I waltzed in to Eyes In Motion, reminded them of the challenge, and within 30 minutes, walked out with a fabulous pair of fairly-priced sunglasses that Raj adjusted to fit my face and Gurjant assured me looked great. There has not been a sunny day since that I have not thought of how great it is not to be squinting all the time!! What's better, they are still there to make any necessary readjustments and provide ongoing customer support.
Thanks so much for outfitting me with my favorite sunglasses - they will never be relegated to the 'glasses graveyard' in my drawer!

I started wearing glasses in Grade 4, and since I'm now in graduate school, I've had my fair share (and then some!) of dealings with optometrists, opticians, glasses, contact lenses, and those endless bottles of cleaning products. Of all those dealings, Eyes in Motion rises far and beyond its competition: Raj and Grant run an exemplary business that combines professionalism, dedication, and true service for their clientele.
To wit: When I first wandered into their facility, I was greeted with genuine friendliness, and have been so greeted every time I've gone in since then. Raj is both candid and knowledgeable, taking great pains that her work is done properly, adjusting my glasses as many times as I wanted without ever begrudging me her time or expertise-indeed, quite the opposite: I always feel quite welcome in their office, thanks to Grant's personable nature and the clean, well-lit ambiance of the store.
As a team, they are extremely professional without being the slightest standoffish; for example, when fitting me with my current glasses, they *both* invested the time in finding the best possible pair in the store to highlight my facial features, each finding dozens of possibilities without once glancing at a clock or hurrying me into a purchase. As a result, I am delighted with the fit and style of my glasses; they are truly the best fitting (and flat-out cutest!) glasses I've ever had, furnished to me by people I genuinely like and respect.

My experience at Eyes in Motion has been great. The very professional eye care I've received from Rajis outstanding. It took rather a long time to satisfy me with the right pair of bifocal contact lenses and Raj was extremely patient. Thanks to Raj's attention to detail and concern for the health of my eyes, I was ableto get prompt medical attention from my doctor for a chalazion before it developed into something more serious. Not satisfied with that, Raj cares enough to continue to monitor the condition, the fit of my lenses, and to provide me with good advice; and this follow-up care has been included in the small fee for fitting the lenses! Now that's conscentious service! Grant and Raj are very personable people as well so it's a pleasure to return to Eyes in Motion.

On the drive into work this morning, CBC was lamenting the death of customer service in the retail sector, and I immediately thought of my recent positive experience at Eyes in Motion. First, Raj had the grace and good sense to refer me to a specialist when I complained about a recurring eye problem--even though it meant I might buy my glasses elsewhere. Then, when I returned with the problem solved and a prescription in hand, she was generous and patient in helping me choose new frames. For the record, I shopped around for frames, and though I found some that were a few dollars cheaper, they were not nearly so stylish as those on offer at Eyes in Motion.
